Springwoods Village will ultimately build out about nine million square feet of commercial space for office, retail, medical, and civic facilities. The pace of development will match the needs of the community and economic demand. Every office building and corporate headquarters located here will be LEED certified or the equivalent to support our sustainability mission. Corporate campuses and office buildings are connected to other neighborhoods and community amenities via paths and trails – encouraging all who work here to take advantage of this vibrant, healthy environment.

The CityPlace agenda.
CityPlace is the heart of the Springwoods Village community. This mixed-use urban district is a vibrant business hub offering Class A office buildings with street level retail and restaurants, as well as prime sites for corporate campuses. ABS is located here, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise corporate campus will begin construction in early 2020. CityPlace has a beautiful lakefront public plaza that brings workers and residents together for community events. The district is walkable to other corporate campus locations within Springwoods Village.
A growing local workforce.
Springwoods Village will have a significant impact on the local economy due to job creation. The current community of 18,000 employees is expected to be a home to a workforce of 35,000-50,000 employees at completion. Further, continued construction over the next 15-20 years is expected to provide tens of thousands of jobs. Estimated gains related to construction and development include $6.9 billion in gross product and over 80,000 construction jobs alone in Harris County.
